Fall Food Favorites: Chicken Tortilla Soup

Cooler weather always means my favorite soup, Chicken Tortilla Soup. This soup is one that my family gets excited for every single fall. As soon as the weather changes they are asking for Chicken Tortilla Soup. And yes, I’ve already made it once this season!

Chicken Tortilla Soup Recipe

1/2 bag Frozen Corn

1 can black beans, drained and rinsed

3 chicken breasts

1 can stewed tomatoes

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 l. chicken broth

Shredded Cheese (topping)

I add all of the ingridents into the crockpot and cook it on low for 8 hours. Then I shred the chicken and put it back into the soup. I top with chips and cheese to serve. Some people like sliced avocado on top. If you add something different to your soup, let me know in the comments below.
